Why timepass .. ?? You ask ?? Becoz I am waiting for the second Anhad Live Video to be updated on Youtube and then I can link it here for your viewing pleasure. "Zindagi" will finally be on the net - the complete unedited version - We know that it is a favourite song for quite a few of you and we apologise for the delay in posting the song. We were just waiting for a better quality version of the video to happen and I have lost my patience as usual .. So we have decided to upload this version which is pretty ok.
So yup .. I am getting a little used to this site now .. which is good. As long as the official Anhad website is up and running.. we will make do with this and the orkut page and myspace and flickr etc. etc. Can't wait for the website to get done so everything is at one place .. It will be like the digital spirit of Anhad. I mean digital as in online !! No .. if you are wondering .. Anhad will never be digital .. Full Power to LIVE music .. ALWAYS and FOREVER !!

Anhad - The Meaning
A lot of you have asked us sometme or the other, where the name comes from ..
ANHAD or ANHAD BANI: Sound that is unending and knows no limits; fig. Audible Life-Current originating the Divine Will, endlessly carrying on the work of creating and sustaining the universe; interchangably used with An-hat meaning 'Unstruck,' as it is automatic and not instrumental.

Anhad soundchecking in Bangalore. The first notes Anhad played Live - EVER !!
23rd Feb 08. My throat was really really bad. I was croaking like a frog until Aveev finally picked up a Mc Dowells Brandy Quarter minutes before us going on stage. He also picked up a small bottle of Dabur Honey. And the auditorium thought I was having apple juice. Every time I took a sip on stage, I had to consiously put in the effort to not make a face !! (like you do when you are drinking neat)..
p.s - Aveev also drank half of the Q !!
